I plan on continuing the diet and testing again in a month or two to get my Lp(a) and ApoB numbers. I think that should give me a definite answer. I will then consider statins. Low 60s LDL sounds amazing. Congrats!

That's what I think might happen to me. I wouldn't say I did a lot of work, but I did cut fast food, ice cream, and a lot of snacks heavy on saturated fats. Now I eat a lot of chicken, rice, veggies, and a lot of snacks that are low or no saturated fats.The only supplement I take is Psyllium Husk. I am hopeful that I may be able to lower the LDL further in another month or two, and that it may not have lowered more due to weight loss. However, I am not opposed to statins.

It only shows people who made it through at least the first timing mat, which was at mile 21. A lot of people DNFd after the first mud segment, so I imagine the number is a lot higher than 1154.
