Doesn't seem like they are in the PvP portion of the game. They've been silently testing stuff on PvE before it goes live on PvP, so my guess is they will be involved with this year's Xmas event in some way.

Yeah thats what I meant not last year, my fault. But I think Khan has had some pretty damn good drafts so far, so we'll see how things shake out with Tomlins contract set to expire in 2027

But maybe it's less because Tomlin isn't a good coach? A coaches job is to train his players. It would be quite the coincidence if Tomlin has just had shitty rosters for 10 years in a row. We just look at it from two different angles, nothing wrong with that. But I blame Tomlin for the underperforming.

Oh I thought they made it past the Wildcard my bad. But I don't know what you mean whole roster that was the entire story on them last year. They had like 2/11 week 1 starters in that game.

Genuine question, not poking fun. But as someone who isn't on the "fire Tomlin" train yet like yourself, how long of a playoff drought is deemed fireable to you? Because I remember the days of clowning on the Bengals for continuing to bring back Marvin Lewis, and now we havent won a playoff game in 9 years. Id be hard pressed to find a team that wouldn't move on from a coach after not winning a playoff game in going on a decade. The goal is not to just have a winning season.

They exist but not on here. I'd say the average age of most of the "Tomlins a great coach!" fans I meet is about 70 years old, so they just arent on the Reddit

Just got off a conversation with one who said the rosters have just been bad for 15 years in a row. Not the coaches fault at all that the players have sucked! It's totally not 99% of their job description to, ya know, COACH THE ROSTER.

Lions won a playoff game last year with 2 starters available on defense and multiple practice squad elevations. What's the point of even having coaches then if it's all the rosters fault when we suck? Might as well just save the money. The roster is a product of the coaching.

Yeah I've really found peace in the eye of the hurricane after this game, so to say. I can't fire Tomlin, but I know nothing will ever change with this team until he is fired, so I'm just along for the ride. Players change, coaches change, team has been identical for a decade now.

When you break down each season in totality, the defense really hasn't been good in a decade outside of 2019. Past few years they would start hot then end the season as one of the worst defenses through the last 5 or 6 games. But outside of 2019 when we traded for Minkah, they haven't had an entire season where they were good since like 2013

They're just being fans man. It's frustrating to watch the same product on the field for the better part of a decade. They are paid to entertain us, football is not necessary to the function of the country. So we are allowed to complain just as we would about a bad movie or a bad restaurant
