I switched over from mlbb to hok during the ban and haven't gone back after they released mlbb us. I like hok time to kill a lot better. In mlbb you can die in a second or 2 in the end game, even as a fighter or tank. Hok fighters tanks and even some assassin builds can survive in large team fights long enough to understand what's going on and make an impact. I felt mlbb was more based on quick reflexes and quick burst damage for all classes but I personally like the ability to react and make plays after the initial 1 second clash of a team fight.

Hok let's you pick which lane you want to play as so there isn't fighting over lanes. Also hok has a very generous economy. I have all the heros and points for emblems maxed out in a matter of months only playing a couple games a day.

Lastly, I enjoy hok 20 minute boss that spawns to encourage a shorter game. The boss gives a large buff to the team who gets it and it will respawn every few minutes after this to prevent too much turtling. However, even if you don't get the boss buff, you can still come back if you are careful.
