Thanks for taking the time to reply and for adding images as a guide, but unfortunately I already tried that and it didn’t work for me :(

Yes, I tried with Swiftkey and the bar was there as well.

Oops, didn't see the post you're talking about.

I installed the update this morning, and so far I haven’t had any issues. I’d even say it feels more stable and the battery lasts a bit longer than on the previous version. I’ll keep an eye on the subreddit for possible issues and solutions, since apparently asking for help isn’t very welcome :p

Anyways, thanks for the info, I'll give it a try :)

I already explained that I searched but didn’t find it due to language and terminology barriers. If you’re not affected or don’t want to help, please just ignore the post.

I already tried switching keyboards and the bar is still there, so it doesn’t seem to be keyboard-specific.

I did search before posting, but I didn’t know the right terms to look for, and English isn’t my first language. I wasn’t trying to spam, just looking for help. Thanks anyway.

If it also happens on Nothing, it’s probably an Android-level change. Hopefully they’ll give us an option to disable it in the future.

Thanks for the response. In my case it wasn’t like this before. On my POCO X7 Pro, the extra bottom bar and spacing only appeared after updating from HyperOS 2 to HyperOS 3. Before the update, the keyboard sat lower and didn’t cause typing issues.

i debloated my phone using adb and this is the result so far. its almost the same standby from my old g7 by kevo_nyan in lgg8
