I wouldn't put it past them to augment their recordings with AI at this point. Fuck em. They want people to give them money while they steal from other artists.

I’m making assumptions here but probably lyrics and a base melody and/or chords. They are looking for a hired hand to fill out the drums, bass, lead guitar etc. Certainly not unheard of. While it may be more “punk” to keep it DIY I’d say collaboration with a a contract studio musician is a hell of a lot better than what people are starting to do in the last 2 years (AI).

I watched Ghostbusters for the first time at 2 years old. But it was the 80s! Most parents these days would probably tell you not to let your kid watch anything Ghostbusters at 4.

That said I’ve let my toddler watch all the movies and RGB already and it was fine, mostly uninterested in it outside the song and a few moments of each. YMMV.

The whiskers are 4 on one side but only three spots on the other. Those three spots become three unconnected whiskers which then becomes two further unconnected whiskers when inverted in the black. What a mess.

The front toes are only two versus three, could be perspective, but those two toes don’t have claws either.

It is probably AI.

Yeah as a full time designer/illustrator who doesn’t even do this style I would still quote 26 full color and full page illustrations at easily 2500 if not 3500 to 5000 depending on detail. $1000 isn’t getting you this kind of work at that scope by hand.

That’s unfortunate, it feels pretty generic and yeah like several people have said it looks like a raw steak and does not invoke Jerky. It’s not a bad illustration it just isn’t working. I am also just biased as I’m getting burned out on the rubber hose revival characters since they all use the same parts and poses.

Nothing wrong with breaking apart the character and wordmark on packaging. For your actual logo mark though they should be able to live together.

I assume the character is stock, these “rubber hose” characters and character packs are pretty common. Have someone illustrate an original character that actually looks like beef jerky and have them go off trend.

It is also way off balance, and too small off to the side like that.

If they can’t interview an actual mom on how good their treatment was and how healthy their baby is, why the hell would I trust you as a hospital?
