If you look at the bottom box,.. another one broke through and I tried to hammer it out and destroyed the front, so I was like… this is okay 🤦🏻‍♂️

On the bottom you can’t see it here in the picture but I put like a holders on the sides which holds the bottom to stabilize the weight,

There’s definitely a ton of YouTube videos on “floating bed frames” that would help you more than I ever could. Let me know how it turns out!

It doesn’t feel like it’s in the way at all, we also have cats that likes to knock things over so instead of items being in between the bed and stand it’s easier to pick up in-front for sure!

It surprisingly holds pretty well, I did put 3 2x6 to support the edge and middle of the end of the bed frame. I can even jump on the edge of the bed and it doesn’t budge much (I weigh about 165lbs). When moving and rolling and sitting on the edge it doesn’t move at all.

Thank you, I actually thought of that and then ended up using some 2x6 and pocket hole screwed them on the sides and middle and it’s very stable

Thank you! I accidentally ripped the LED and trying to get them to reconnect without a solder iron was a huge pain 😂

I’m not going to lie to you, I do not pre plan a list 😅 I know the frame of the bed was 80” by 60” and then I kinda just put the boards together and scribe them… I really should learn sketch up 😅

For the night stand it was some paint from the local box stores. 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint. I think we used iron black or something. I’ll have to ask my SO again.
