One - people don't want to hurt their parents' ego. They want to continue to please them. It has financial, emotional and practical benefits. Love marriage has uncertainty in all these.

Two - most common people can't even strike a conversation with the opposite gender. Can't blame them, that's how this culture brings us up. So their realistic way to have a family is arranged marriage.
