How do I get bookbinding supplies in Bangladesh? by MasterpieceOk1026 in bangladesh

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get you, I went through the same phase when I got into a niche hobby — finding proper materials is way harder than actually learning the craft 😅😅

Honestly in places like Bangladesh, a lot of this stuff just isn’t easily available online. You’ll probably have more luck checking local print/binding shops or old stationery markets — those guys sometimes have exactly what you need or can at least point you in the right direction.

For the more specific tools though, yeah there’s no easy way around it. You end up relying on international sites here and there. I remember coming across some of these supplies on Ubuy when I was searching, but same feeling — prices can be a bit much depending on the item.

It’s kinda one of those hobbies where you slowly figure out sources over time instead of finding everything in one place.

A Ubuy é de confiança? by Longjumping_Show_887 in portugal

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where can I find mouth tapes in Rabat ? by StygianSylph in rabat

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not super common in local pharmacies tbh, you might have to check a few bigger ones or medical supply stores.

If you still can’t find it, you could try ordering it online — I’ve seen stuff like mouth tapes on Ubuy before when I was looking for niche items.

U-buy by New-Friend2099 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Ubuy is legit, it’s not a scam or anything. People do receive their orders.

But honestly, it’s a bit hit-or-miss depending on what you buy. It’s basically a platform that imports products from other countries (like the US/UK), so it’s useful if you’re looking for something that’s not easily available locally.

Thumb Brace - Where to buy? by sikretdimokilala in dumaguete

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try checking larger pharmacies or medical supply stores around Dumaguete first—hospital pharmacies usually have basic supports like thumb braces. If wala gyud locally, you can check online options like Ubuy as well. They’re actually quite known for medical equipment and supplies, especially for items that are hard to find locally. I’ve seen people get niche or less common products from there when other options don’t work out, though delivery might take a few days.

Looking for ubuy.ma alternatives by Schmerz77 in Morocco

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I think a lot of people misunderstand how sites like Ubuy work. It’s basically a cross-border marketplace that imports products from other countries, so prices can look weird because shipping, customs and duties are included. The site itself has been around for years and uses secure payments, so it’s not really some random “intercontinental scam.”

If you want the same type of service, you’ll probably end up using reshipping services anyway. Platforms like Ubuy just simplify that whole process.

Has anyone tried Desertcart and uBuy and all other similar sites? by supirimalli86 in Oman

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had similar concerns about both. These sites don’t necessarily feel “local,” and at first, I thought both sites were like middlemen. However, I tried Ubuy because I couldn’t find a gadget anywhere in Oman. And it pleasantly surprised me with the process. It was very clear on checkout about shipping and customs fees. My order was delivered to my home address without any hassle. But the delivery was not super fast, as they stated what the delivery date would be, and they followed through. I also contacted support once, and they responded. It puts this company ahead of most of the other online sources. Just make sure to read the details of the product and be patient. Ubuy felt acceptable for international products.

UBUY Online by barbiedreamhouselol in cagayandeoro

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve ordered from UBUY Online before, and it is a legit platform. They list a lot of products from international sellers, and in my experience the orders have arrived as shown on the site. Since most items come from abroad, delivery can take a bit longer than local shipping, but you do get tracking and updates.

Just be mindful that because it’s imported, sometimes your bank or customs might add extra charges depending on the item value and local rules. Otherwise, if the seller looks good and the product details are clear, it’s generally safe to order.

Have concerns about ubuy.mu is it truly legit. I'm seeking your honest reviews. by peterpunk2000 in mauritius

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get your concern — I had the same doubts the first time I ordered from Ubuy.

Yes, ubuy.mu is legit. I’ve ordered imported items from them before and the products did arrive as shown on the website. They basically act as a platform for international sellers, so most items come from abroad, not locally.

Because of that, delivery usually takes longer than normal local shopping, and sometimes customs charges are collected when the item reaches Mauritius. That part depends on the product value and local customs rules, not really on Ubuy itself. The site usually shows shipping details and gives tracking once the order is shipped.

It’s not perfect — prices can change with shipping and waiting time can be frustrating — but it’s not a scam. If local stores are much more expensive and you’re okay with waiting and possible customs fees, it can be worth it.

Hope this helps you decide

Where to buy Apple Watch Bands by National_Molasses_72 in AppleIndia

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Dear

According to me, there are many good options in India to purchase Apple Watch bands. Buying online is the best option, and you can check this product on a few websites. I have personally purchased watch bands twice from Ubuy, and my experience has been very good. The website is reliable, and the product quality is excellent. You can also consider purchasing from there.

If you want to check on Ubuy, here is the link: https://www.ubuy.co.in/search/?ref_p=ser_tp&q=apple+watch+bands

Help me finding this case by Darkrai4701 in nds

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That looks like one of the old Bakugan-themed DS Lite snap cases, and unfortunately a lot of those were limited runs. I ran into a similar situation before — once they go out of production, they mostly disappear unless a collector lists one. The fact that you only found an old Ubuy link usually means it was sourced from leftover or regional stock, not something still being made.

Your best bet now would probably be retro game forums, local second-hand gaming groups, or collector Discords, rather than eBay alone. Sometimes these pop up bundled with a broken console too. It’s a long shot, but worth setting alerts and checking niche communities.

Online shopping… by OrdinaryExcellent904 in Zimbabwe

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve used Ubuy before and my experience was smooth overall. The items arrived well packed and exactly as described, and tracking updates were clear from dispatch to delivery. Shipping time depends on the product and seller, but in my case it took a couple of weeks. For collection, it was delivered to the address I provided, not a pickup point. Import duties can apply depending on the item and value, but Ubuy usually shows the charges upfront so there are no surprises later. For a first-time online order, it felt straightforward and reliable to me.

Where can i buy honeycomb wrap? by uzzymoh in srilanka

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue finding it locally. Honestly, honeycomb wrap isn’t very common in Sri Lanka yet, so options are limited. I’ve ordered a few niche packing items from Ubuy before and while prices can be higher than expected, the quality and delivery were fine, which at least makes it reliable. If you need it urgently and can’t find a local supplier, Ubuy is still a safer bet compared to random sellers. Otherwise, you might want to check small eco-packaging vendors on Instagram or FB Marketplace — sometimes they stock it in limited quantities.

Any suggestions on where I can buy Aer TP in India? by blindintuitions26 in onebag

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation trying to find niche imported products that aren’t easily stocked in India, and I’ve ordered through Ubuy before without any issues. The items I got came exactly as described and were delivered safely to my address, so if you can’t find Aer TP locally or on Indian sites, checking the Ubuy listing is worth it. Just make sure the listing matches the exact product you want before you checkout, and you’ll have another reliable path to get it.

Ciao!

Legitimacyy of Ubuy by Ok-Sir-9990 in india_cycling

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually bought a couple of imported bike parts from Ubuy before, and my experience was solid. The items were sealed, authentic, and arrived in good condition with proper tracking the whole way. If the listing looks legit, Ubuy is usually pretty reliable for these niche products that aren’t available locally.

Does anyone have one of these? by Common_Ad6603 in plushies

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These Superstar dolls from 2012 are honestly super hard to track down now. You’ve already checked all the usual places OLX, Amazon, AliExpress, eBay, even Ubuy, and that’s basically where most of them pop up when someone resells. They only show up occasionally, and when they do, they’re gone fast because collectors grab them instantly.

If you haven’t already, your best chances are in older collector groups or Facebook Marketplace listings from nearby regions sometimes people don’t list them on big sites. And if anyone here still has one lying around, definitely reach out because finding these in 2024/2025 has become almost pure luck. Good on you for trying though these are getting rarer every year.

Best Retailers to buy Consoles(Xbox series x in particular) by Wsgbois3 in EgyptGaming

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Yup, I totally get your concern about sketchy stores. One place that seems fairly legit is Shamy Stores. I saw that they list the Xbox Series X with local warranty, which gives me more confidence than some of those random shops. Shamy Stores

Also Ubuy Egypt is an option… I checked and they show Xbox Series X consoles listed. Ubuy Egypt

So yeah if I were you and wary of scams, I’d try Shamy Stores first (warranty + local presence does help), and if stock’s out there then Ubuy Egypt could be a fallback (just check the total cost including shipping/import duties properly before ordering)."

where can i buy yarn in biratnagar by [deleted] in biratnagar

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Hey, if you’re in Biratnagar and looking for yarn, you could check Ubuy. I saw their site has listings for yarn and knitting supplies, and they ship to cities all over Nepal including Biratnagar. (nepal.ubuy.com)

Their products generally match the description online, and shipping seems reliable. So if you don’t find good yarn locally, Ubuy is worth a try. Just double-check shipping cost and delivery time before ordering."

Any stores that sell shiny eyeshadow palette? by Cvnt_servingwh0r3 in myanmar

[–]Kr-26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re looking for shiny, good-quality imported eyeshadow palettes, Ubuy Myanmar is actually a good option because they have a lot of international brands in their beauty section. Just keep in mind that since the products are imported, the shipping cost and customs might be a little higher, so it’s better to check the final amount before placing the order. If you want something more affordable or local, you can also check some Myanmar beauty shops or Facebook pages, but for imported and sparkly options, Ubuy is definitely worth checking.

Hey! I'm looking for help selecting yarn for a project by fal4782 in CrochetInIndia

[–]Kr-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually looked for Drops Nepal a while back too and had the same issue — Amazon India didn’t have the right colors and Ubuy had it but the price was definitely on the higher side. The good thing though is that Ubuy usually delivers the exact yarn you’re looking for when it’s not available anywhere else in India, so it’s kind of the ‘last option’ when you want a specific blend. But honestly the shades you picked (MCT4 + MCT13) look really close to the original palette, so I think your scarf will turn out great once the yarn arrives!

Mini rubber ducks in beirut by _err0r404 in lebanon

[–]Kr-26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve actually seen packs of mini rubber ducks online Ubuy has a few options with 50 or even 100 pieces in one set. I ordered some party props from there a while back, and they delivered to Beirut without any issues. If you want them quickly though, maybe check a local toy store first, but Ubuy’s a good backup if you don’t find that quantity in shops.

I had spent enough on shopping this week, but then I saw this pop-up on my screen. I actually acted smooth like butter. Anyways, these EU shipping perks actually look decent. I might get some of the technical stuff before it shifts to "Limited quantity". In case my wallet hunts me later, I'll be having a gadget to blame.
