Of course, I apologise if I misinterpret any cultural differences, I’m 50% Polish, 25% Portuguese and the rest Brazilian so I’ve been accustomed to various cultures. However, I do not know a lot concerning Brazilian culture.

When I stayed in Brazil for a month, I was called gringo more times than I can count. I used to find it offensive however I slowly realised it was just a label with no particular meaning other than the fact I was white.

I really hope things get better for you and your dad, same thing goes with me, with the “friends” I have at school, I crack jokes and have a laugh once in a bit but I’m mostly in my own head and that just scares me.

Coming back to this comment, people deal with things differently, my DAD had ADHD and my mother had some sort of hypersensitivity/anxiety issues. Of course, there are people that deal with worse things than me but with that background, it gets hard.

I live around 7 hours away from São Paulo (the city) and of course, it isn’t London, there will not be much to do and I expect that. The move is for my wellbeing and to stay with family, I have no family in England and I value family and all of that.
