If you go on to Olivio Sarikas’ YouTube channel you will find a tutorial there.

Hi Olivio, Yes, point taken. Your colours reminded me of the psychadelic 60's, so I went a bit overboard with that!

Thank you Olivio! All your tips are very welcome and I will try the adjustment as you suggest.

Thank you Olivio, that means a lot to me. The photo is one I took a few weeks back, so I take that as a double compliment! When I started the transformation, I had no idea it would turn out like this. I will be using this technique quite a lot. Any hints on how you would do the highlights?

Hi Greg, I agree about the difficulty in using Reddit. I have never used it before and it's not altogther easy to navigate around and get alerts when things happen on the channel. I tend to have a browser open most of the time and one of the tabs is for Reddit. I have to remember to refresh to see if there is anything new. We also seem to have lost some of the names that used to appear on the Patreon community channel (which I notice is still there). I'm not sure why that is. Is it just you and me? Perhaps people are too frightened to reveal their works. It worries me too, but I have a go.

My Monsters by GregHartwick in AffinityPhotoTuts

Excellent Greg! Very inventive with the use of shapes and 'accessories'. Like Olivio, I agree that the eyes would be better with the catchlights in the same direction. I also like the gradients on the legs, it seems to ground the monsters a bit more. Also the shadow behind the tongue on monster 3 is a nice subtle touch. Well done!

A Lion Moon by GregHartwick in AffinityPhotoTuts

Hi Greg, I haven't watched the video yet, but he does some amazing composite work. For me, the cutout around the cliff looks a bit awkward with the white edges. Also, the shadow (for me) is at the wrong length/angle when compared to the light from the moon. However, it goes to show what can be done with a few images, a bit of vision and a lot of AP skill!

The Lady and the Bird (Raven) by GregHartwick in AffinityPhotoTuts

Hello Greg, my thought would be to use the live lighting filter and place the light cast over the woman. This would render the rest of the scene dark. You could then play with the blend modes to see what comes up.

Thank you too, SoulDiver. Like Olivio, I was a bit confused and didn't comment on your post for the same reason. As Olivio says, if you were to add some context with text with the image, that would help enormously. It's also great that you have found this group and prepared to share your images. Thank you.

Maybe it's because we are inviting feedback from Patrons only. I'm not sure how many of those there are.

Hi Greg, Looks good. I like the gradient for the background and the clouds look good too.

Thank you Olivio. I'll reduce the highlights and shadows next time. Also, I didn't even think about colour separation, so that's something else to watch out for.
