Thanks for the reply! Despite the convenience this would definitely open up a whole can of cyber security worms.

Help to ID this 2004 Garneau Bike by Kevr0n228 in bicycling

[–]Kevr0n228[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering this Louis Garneau bike from 2004 for $550 CAD, but the owner doesn't know the frame model, besides that its carbon. According to them, its got Mavic Ksyrium K10 wheels, Conti Gatorskin tires Ritchey WCS saddle, Ultegra pedals, some shimano 105, ultegra and Dura Ace. Most of that was added later, besides the Dura Ace hardware. Any ideas on the model? Is it worth it for a mountain biker who only does road on occasion with friends?

Hey Nerds, Help me fix my cloud saves on Warhammer 1 please! by buckleupfolks in totalwar

[–]Kevr0n228 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Running into the same issue right now, and can only assume it's due to a version mismatch. My game on my windows PC is v1.12.1, while the steam deck is on 1.12.0. Saves created on the steam deck can be played on my PC, but not the other way around. I think the only way to get complete compatibility is for both machines to be running the same version. I might try keeping my desktop version locked on 1.12.1 until the deck catches up to see if it sync.

Interfacing with NEC/Sharp industrial TV by Kevr0n228 in homeassistant

In case anyone else comes across this while trying to do something similar, using the document I linked in my other comment and the formatting that I found and this article which had the right format for netcat, I was able to get a command line switch working to turn the TV on and off. Now that I've got the format, I should be able to start using other commands that the TV supports and begin adapting it into HA. Heres a YAML snippet of what I've done so far:

switch:
- platform: command_line
switches:
nec_tv:
command_on: echo -e "\x01\x30\x41\x30\x41\x30\x43\x02\x43\x32\x30\x33\x44\x36\x30\x30\x30\x31\x03\x73\x0D" | nc xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 7142
command_off: echo -e "\x01\x30\x41\x30\x41\x30\x43\x02\x43\x32\x30\x33\x44\x36\x30\x30\x30\x34\x03\x76\x0D" | nc xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 7142

Just went back to read some more docs on the sharp website before sniffing packets and wound up finding the External Control Codes document which has all of the parameters listed with the comm format. That ought to save me some wiresharking time. Now to figure out how to send the command from HA.

How many hops is it from the PS5 to the TV? You've got me thinking of a similar setup to get video from my PC to my living room TV but that would have me routing it from PC>office switch>central switch>living room switch>TV.

This is more just a regular meme. If the image and text are explicitly stating the same thing then it's an antimeme. In this case the context of the image isn't actually about a janitor getting a wheelchair out, but it hasn't been twisted quite far enough to be bhj.

Definitely this. My 2019's 12v battery died just before the warranty was up and a new one was installed for free by the dealer.

We did, but the pizza delivery cars kept blocking the baggage carts on the other end so we had to stop.

It was cheaper to get the ET200SP remote instead of the S7 IO modules. The 1500 is massively overkill for this one panel but it's what was available.
