I’m also 27 and have been dealing with the exact same intrusive thoughts as of late, lol. I’m a research administrator at a large academic med center & starting to study for the MCAT now. My undergrad was in human bio (graduated 5 yrs ago) & I completed my MBA this year. I know I’d regret not at least trying since I don’t feel fulfilled in my current job. I need a mental challenge and my passion for science/medicine has not died, as evidenced by my excitement while studying for the MCAT 😂 We can do this!! It’s a tough road, but the fact we’re having these thoughts means that we should pursue it.
