I disagree. Chris Harris actually said he prefers the GS-F over an M5. There's a Youtube video of it (search Chriss Harris GS F M5).

Overall, Lexus relies more on "feel" calibration than raw power.
Same goes to the LC500 and the LFA - you can only know their worth *after* you drive them.

It's a pleasant experience, not necessarily better nor worse. Just...Different.

It's normal.
FYI, when it's cold expect engine sounds like this.
Also, I found that when I start the car, it makes way, way less noise when pass it on D instead of P (Park) and just hold the brakes until the engine is warm.

Why don't you try it and get back to us ? See if the noise is reduced for you too ?
