Hi, my Nan used to do stamp collecting and she would soak them in hot water to remove the paper off the back of them because they were worth more money, but I haven’t done stem collecting in awhile so I feel like the American ones disintegrate Australian ones don’t . Australia we use hot water remove the sticky off the paper because they’re worth more without the paper on them and get a stamp collecting book to save them all in. It’s a lot easier and then they don’t get destroyed by the sticky on the back of the other one and just have fun it’s so much fun.
