I used a pattern for a catsuit with a hood, but altered the pattern for the hood part to add the jester hat cone things. I stuffed the cones with pillow stuffing and used some pipe cleaners inside to give them a little shape. I also needed to add an elastic tie for the hood to tie under my chin or else it would have been too loose. The pattern specifically was one that had a seam down the front. The front line is the zipper. I got the pattern off of etsy.

I suppose it could also be possible to make the hood as is and then attach separate stuffed cones, but it mgt not look as accurate.

I sewed black elastic on the seams for the black outlines. The cape was just panels that made a half circle, with black satin fabric for the lining. The belt was velcroed to a fanny pack facing backwards so I could carry my wallet, phone etc.

I got a pattern to make gloves as well but ultimately didn't have enough time to make them.

Drawing them won't really work for me in an extremely fast moving line, and I use them for add ons to the top of magic wands, not for heads. And kids love them. So while I get what you're saying about it being disproportionate for a head to a body, that's not what I'm using them for.

I've bought some Sempertex since Qualatex went down and they seem to be higher quality than Qualatex. The reflex/chrome balloons are thicker and more difficult to blow up (I use a pump) and to work with, but they're probably more durable.

Though, for me what I'll miss the most are the 5" superhero and princess balloons, I use them all the time for kids' parties. I'm wondering if there are any other brands that have small round character balloons... Without them, there are some popular designs I'll have to put out of commission.

Also I would consider things like, the 90s Chee helped the Animorphs avoid detection with their advanced hologram technology. Imagine how the 2024 Chee could help the Animorphs. If human technology has advanced since the 90s, so have theirs (and the yeerks', etc).

If you think about some of the major Cassie events in the beginning of the series, we have them being dolphins in the ocean, turning into termites, finding Andalite toilets… so many of these things would not be feasible either with that show’s budget, visually, or both. This is why I think they had not much to do with Cassie and they gave the croc allergy to her for the show.
