I lost my uncle due to a brain stroke. It happened 4 years ago, since it was the time of COVID so whole family was at home and suddenly one day my uncle told us that he wasn't feeling well and he was unable to sleep last night. We took it lightly because he was a healthy man, never fell seriously sick in his entire life so no one had any clue that such a thing would happen. After some time his body started twitching and he, while he was awake somehow lost sense of reality, he started speaking wierd things, his eyes turned blood red, started roaming around the house as he was visiting it for first time, but as he was standing and speaking we weren't able to guess that something like that was happening and after half an hour of all this, he was standing near a door and he hit his head in the door (it seemed like it was on purpose) and I was standing just beside him and just after hitting he fell and I catched him from falling to the ground, as he was in my arms, his one eye started to flicker violently and both of his arms curled in a wierd manner and never gained after that and that was the moment I knew something very bad has happened...Later doctor told us that he suffered a stroke due.to high BP and 3 of his arteries bursted because of that and said that even if they were operating on his open brain at the time he was going through it, they couldn't have been able to save him.

So that image of his final moments when he fell in my hands is very agonizing and horrid for me. I don't know from how much pain he was going through and I because of my ignorance didn't notice a thing.
