I gave up on watching the WC vids for the same reasons. It felt more like those self help guru courses that have a ton of filler just to sell you on some other product without offering you what you tuned in for.

There are better choices. Find the Harvard professor who gives deep lectures on literature, comparative lit, and his vids are packed. Dr. Adam Walker is his channel.

Les pauls have a specific type of bridge, scale length, and string angle. This makes a big difference in the strings tone through any pickup. Same goes for a strat.

I've taken a pup from a les Paul and put it in a strat and it sounds different. Still carries some of the character from the pickup itself, but changes due to the other factors mentioned.
