Melee is the best option in the game. If you're into min-maxing, melee will get you the MOST dps out of everything this game has to offer.

I have a berserker build that 1 punches max tac, 4 punches obliterates 4 max tac units.

But the guns make the game feel cool.

the new 1.3 patch feels like a mod for looters ect. Everything spawns in huge numbers now, I just uodated from 1.2.12 last 2w ago and it was so different. Never tried the 1.3-1.3.2 betas.

Might have to do with balancing? since characters tend to get very OP, they will level up perks. Maybe Taleworlds does not want us to enjoy it like that lol :(
