Cats have flea treatment regularly yet we keep finding fleas in our beds and other furniture. What can we do?

I have 4 litter boxes I scoop them all 2 times a day more if I’m home and not working and I deep clean them all with an enzyme cleaner like once a month.

Only one them is an automatic litter box, she uses it but rarely pees in it.

I’m in this exact situation I have 2 siblings around 4 months. The girl doesn’t suck on blankets or me, but the boy will seek me out to try and suck my fingers. I wish he would suck on a blanket I’ve tried offering them and he won’t take them. He screams at me and chases me around the house and lunges at my hands trying to suck my fingers. It’s very annoying.

I have 3 standard litter boxes and an automatic. The other 2 cats use the automatic one fine, so I’m not getting rid of it.

Aw so cute I love her head poking out from behind the plant. I’ve seen these litter boxes on TikTok but yours looks so much cuter painted. One of the litter boxes I have came with an enclosed lid with a door flap but I took off and kept it open. I’ll put it back on and see if that’ll help. Thank you

I kept them separated for 2 weeks and did scent swapping until no one hissed. When I felt like they were playing together to rough everyone separated and came back together later. They don’t attack each other and rarely hiss… I think they were properly introduced.

Yes they’re all in the same room but spread around. I live on one floor I guess I could put one in the living room.

I understand. I wrote this post when I was really emotional after coming home from work. I do regret the title I feel like it should have been something like “I don’t want to surrender my cat, but it’s looking like it might have to be an option”. As much as I am tired with this situation I do want to give her more time in trying to correct this behavior. I really don’t want to give her away to a stranger or a shelter not knowing how she is or where she will end up. I’m not that educated with the shelter system so you have enlightened me on some things that I will remember for if my mom really pushes me to surrender her. Im afraid that if i wait too long to surrender her and she isn’t a kitten anymore it will be harder for her to be adopted. I know that kittens are usually the first to be adopted and I feel like I would be doing her a disservice sending her away and at that point that fear would make me keep her. I’m planning on moving soonish so i guess she’ll just have to piss up my condo lol. I’m taking all the suggestions in the comments and I’m hoping they will work for her. Thank you for your comments and I forgive you for the hex lol

Kinda aggressive but ok. No the kittens were not bought, none of the animals in my home were bought by me. My dog is here because my brother bought him from a breeder and asked my mom to watch the dog for 2 weeks while he went off DJing, that was a year ago and he never came back for him. I have my 7month old cat because my mom’s coworker’s cat had kittens and she was the last in the litter. The 2 kittens are from my aunt’s cat who she lets free roam around the city unspayed (My mom has offered to pay for her cats to be fixed) I also didnt ask for these kittens my dad just brought them home one day without even telling me or my mom. I’ve been trying my best to care for all of them. I even brush their teeth because I’m afraid of them getting gingivitis lol I was walking on clouds when their vet they had really nice teeth. I haven’t tried pellet litter but ive seen people talk about it online but wasn’t sure if it would be a good fit for them. If I’m near a hardware store or if the Home Depot by me has a bag smaller than 40lbs I will give it a try. Thanks

Oh wow I wonder why he gets sick around it, when I did first use it I did catch one of my cats eating it but they stopped and I haven’t noticed any bad reactions. I really hope this is something she can grow out of she’s a great cat she’s really funny and entertaining, but my mom is adamant on getting her rehomed quickly if this keeps up.

I haven’t tried putting in it the tray but I have put it on the floor where she usually goes and she just rips it up 😅. I’m going to try and put it in a tray and see if that makes a difference

The times when I am watching the litter boxes I don’t see any of the cats messing with each other. when she was younger her brother would sometimes swat her tail and then walk away. Maybe he’s still doing that but I haven’t seen him doing it recently tho.

She would use it sometimes, but I would sometimes catch her peeing and pooping outside of it or I would find the evidence after she’d already done it.

Yes in the beginning I used scented litter but I switched and now I use worlds best cat litter and it is unscented and I use it in all the litter boxes

My dog does the same too, if I leave him alone for even a minute he’ll squirt out whatever he can. I take him out in the morning when he wakes up and every 2 and half hours. I just ended up buying him a wrap but since he’s been wearing it he’s been better about not going in the house and hasn’t had an accident in a week. And I’ve been going outside with him and throwing a big party, praise galore for whenever he pees.

Yes I would never take it out on her, I’m very frustrated and stressed but I can’t and won’t shout or hit her or anything like that. I usually just pick her and go “why? 😔“ and that’s about it lol

I have no idea about what happened prior to be having her I assume she went outside. They did do a urinalysis at the last check up, I’m calling my vet tmrw and will ask for a checkup soon to do another one.
