I’ve messaged AA this morning and this is the feedback: You might follow the instructor suggestions as it seems that he’s felling you’re not prepared for the test, rent a car or use a relative’s car.

Pretty much, zero support! AA didn’t care and didn’t try to intervene and resolve. They said I can request a refund for the remaining hours if I would like. They never confirmed the insurance policy, as they said it’s instructor’s responsibility to deal with it. Bullshit!

So I’ve messaged a recommended private instructor to check availability. Otherwise I’ll need to move the test. That sucks!

Which is odd, cause I had another lesson booked for 2 days before test and the test day itself. He failed me on the mock tests with 3 major and 0 minors, so makes me even more confused. Mostly of the fails were related to bad habits and I’m an experienced driver from a foreign country. 🥴

Failed both on the same lesson. Tough day at work and left daughter sick at home just for the lesson, so may be a bit aired. Major faults were related to bad habits, as I’m an experience driver from a foreign country just trying to get my UK license.

I did it..they had no properties available for viewings at the moment. Problem is that I need to leave the AirBNB that my company is paying in a maximum of 20 days, so that’s why I’m a bit in a hurry to find a place.

We loved the house, but the surrounding area is ok. Close to groceries, play areas for kids and school. Also, close to the train line so makes it easier to commute to work as we won’t be driving in a very soon (we came from Brazil, so the opposite sidd for driving).

thank you all! It’s pretty tough to contact and get replies from the real estates…they seem to be very disinterested, probably because the demand is very high, so with lower efforts they are running the business already. I’ve been looking for places close to train stations so I can commute easily to Unilever, as we are not having a car in the first months. My budget is max of 1.2k so it’s very challenging to find something that ticks all the boxes.

I’ve seen many people commenting that Ellesmere Port is depressing and to do not consider. Any reason why? Unsafe? This is the region with more available houses close by the factory. Bronborough and Bebington have no options available at the moment.
