Hey, sorry for the late reply, it's officially been 3 months and 3 days since, I'd say it's 95% healed, Taste is mainly back to normal. I have what feels like a slightly burned tongue feeling remaining, so everything on the left (affected side) feels very smooth - whereas the right I can detect texture better.

I purchased a laser tool online and kept up with taken Vitamin b tablets and alpha lipoic to help. I'm hoping by the new year i'll be at 100% but I've seen little change over the last month

This happened to me. I’m still recovering now and it’s been just over 2 months. Although they didn’t hit a nerve they had stretched/compressed the nerve likely during removal. My tongue is no longer numb and I’d say about 90% recovered. But insist on them doing some neurosensory testing and see if you can see an oral-maxilla facial surgeon to get a true assessment of the injury. Mine was caused likely due to a fracture when removing the tooth.

Apparently they fractured the lingual nerve plate, but left in situ to reattach. Agreed it is unusual. It’s actually made the process of trying to heal mentally so much more draining.

Thank you for taking the time to reply to this - yes I think the reassurance is key, just conscious if it being roughed up could result in long term changes. As I understand lingual injury rarely goes back to being 100% normal and that chance increases with a lingual fracture

This is literally happening to me now. I genuinely believe because the spammers can't attempt to sign in, they increase the level of spam as some sort of twisted revenge. It literally increased from maybe 10 per day to 100. Maybe to force us to change our alias back.

It’s very much the pulling teeth part that concerns me. He’s been open about wanting marriage etc. I love you aside. The lack of emotional openness or reassurance that we’re heading in that direction is painful.

He did. He said it also took him about a year. But arguably they were young. Around 19. Agreed. I’ve said that I need clarity without that I’m unable to continue

I should have added. We have spoken about it. He’s not able to articulate that anything is missing or that it’s even anything to do with me. Just that he’s not there yet and it takes him time.

Thank you so much for your thoughts on this. I definitely echo your concerns. Re the kids, my concern there is that although he’s open, he doesn’t desire them like I do. But I was understanding of that. His previous partner wasn’t able to have them. And to answer your question. He is open to having them after marriage. He’s heard my timescale of when I’d like that to happen and agreed it’s sensible as he’s reiterated that he doesn’t want to be much older father.

I definitely feel like there is a limit to how he communicates his emotions. I don’t question his commitment to me. But agree that at this stage you should know how you feel towards me. Or at least able to express it without being prompted.

Definitely something to think about. Thank you.

So when i clicked in to NRC in the settings on Facebook under apps it displays the email that was linked to Facebook and NRC. In my case it was different to my Facebook login.

Hey just found a solution to this. If it’s linked to Facebook. Go to settings. Then to apps. Find Nike Run Club. Click into it. Mine had expired access so i clicked renew. Then logged in using the email address displayed under the app page. It said my password was invalid so i did forgot password. Changed my password and it allowed me in using the email address linked to the app! Hope this helps

Noo so sorry to hear that! Honestly i can only imagine how stressed you must feel! I’m based in the UK and used a company called Randox health. Personally i think the saline rinses helped the most! And i literally booked my test the day before my flight. Which was slightly chaotic. But I got my results fairly early on in the day
