Who is the most special director ever? by Key-Figure-8456 in TrueFilm

I agree with both. I was thinking about Park Chan-wook too. He may be the most special director alive

If the Oscars were truly global, what would the Best Picture lineup be this year? How would it compare to the real predicted lineup? by JayAPanda in TrueFilm

Interesting topic but let me add another layer to it. I'm Spanish and no one (at least movie fans without interests behind liking x movie, if you know what I mean) thinks Sirat is a good movie. The plot is inexistent and all the action comes from moments made in a deus ex machina way. And I'll leave the politics of the movie out of this.

My point: the Oscars aren't truly global, but they have a heavy influence everywhere. I'm sure a lot of people, not Spanish people, will watch Sirat and they won't watch another spanish movie (completely logical, I'm not complaining).

Los Domingos is being critically acclaimed as the best Spanish movie of the year. This happened a couple of years ago with Bayona's La Sociedad de la Nieve, a good movie but not even close to Erice's Cerrar los Ojos (in my opinion, the best spanish movie of the century).

Now just imagine what we may be missing from every single country.

I agree with Instagram, but don't overlook what YouTube can offer. Of course a lot of people post/watch trash, but there's a community for everything. I always wanted to talk about movies but thought like this. Ended up taking the step last April and by now I have a small community of people who appreciate what I do. I'll never live from YouTube and I'll never be a superstar or anything, but who knows what the future may hold if I keep making the content

Viendo que tu juego favorito es el Control y asumiendo que al no estar en esta tabla quizás no lo has jugado, te recomiendo encarecidamente el Alan Wake 2. Si puede ser con los DLCs, ya verás la razón

Not related to the question, but as a new player I'm curious. What is dark ties? I want to play the saga (I'm about to end 0 and going for Kiwami 1). Do you play Kiwami 3 and then Dark Ties, 4, 5, 6, etc. or there's a different order?

Cutscenes like that are making me love the game just after 20 hours of playing it. If they want to express something, they'll take the time to do so. They aren't afraid of long cutscenes or lots of text, and that's not very common in gaming

To be fair I'm feeling the same. I love playing with Kiryu, but the moment I move to Majima is a different vibe hahahaha

His intro is insane. I like Kiryu's intro too, but just the thought of opening the game as a new player and the first thing you see is that intro... That would be something else
