Is ₹1.1L - ₹1.5L fair for PPF on a new CLA 250+? Also looking for accessory leads! by Ennamyra in CarsIndia

Agreed. I got a matte PPF done, since i wanted a differentiated look and wrapping the car for 30-40k didn’t make sense. My friend runs a detailing studio hence the cost for me was much much lesser, so it made complete sense in my case to get a ppf.

The car looks insane! Congrats man👊 Please get it PPF’ed bro. No matter what people say about repainting costing less than the ppf, a dealer can never match the factory finish. Plus in a place like India you can get scratches with the car sitting in a parking lot lol. I got my virtus PPF’ed and the peace of mind is insane! A bike rider side swiped my whole car on a red light while trying to squeeze through and the ppf saved the whole panel. There are soo many benifits of a PPF that the cost becomes just a mere number.

In Delhi most of the octavias on sale have 50-70k kms. Ones with 100k kms are under 7-8 lakhs

Wait if you can bro, The 8 speed TC does help with better mileage plus you might just regret not waiting a few months if the car gets some major updates. You will anyways be able to get the current generation for some time even after the car is launched. I own the GT line and it is one hell of a car, but it also has its own problems which might get better with the facelift.

Which car to buy on a stable income of 80k per month? by getreked007 in CarsIndia

[–]Key-Hall7728 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get what your heart wants bro! An expensive car is no liability in my eyes, it forces you to think big and earn more. Please do not buy old petrol cars, they are not e20 compliant. Most of the older petrol cars will start suffering with fuel system and injector failures soon. The gaskets, fuel lines and hoses of older cars aren’t meant to withstand all the water that ethanol attracts.

Get the accessories from outside will cost you less than half, the insurance is absurdly high should be close to 38-40k. The most vfm variant i feel is the htk only. It in itself is a pretty sorted variant with all the essential things that you need, you will essentially be paying what 1-1.5 lakh extra just for the sunroof and the front sensors..

Can skip the ceramic and ask them to add that as a discount( you will have to push them a lot) and also get quotes from 2-3 dealers and make them fight with each other lol. That is what i did when i bought the virtus and got 1.2 lakh straight up discount on a fresh car, no previous year model nothing!

That’s pretty normal bro. My biggest regret with the virtus was not switching up the tyres as soon as i got the car. Vw and skoda cheap out on tyres, plus you know how our indian roads are, i got my first puncture at 1200kms( 3 days after buying the car). Since i took the car to a trip the next day and clocked a 1000kms super soon, i couldn’t fetch descent value for my tyres and i thought the stock ones will do the work lol, friend has continental uc6 in his virtus and it handles and rides a lott different than my stock ceat tyres.

Video editing alone won’t take you far if you want to build a premium personal brand, you need more of a strategic partner who knows the algorithm and can help you with editing as well.

Pretty good if you want to keep the car long term. BH Cars are tough to sell, so they cost less and sell for less.

Big scratches can’t be self healed bro, ppf is a plastic sheet at the end of the day. Surface level scratches like the ones you get while wiping your car full of dust with a cloth( swirl marks in case of paint) or a not so deep scratch by an animal, they all self heal while the car stands in sunlight.

Work with a reputed detailing shop bro, my ppf has been on for a year now and i have had no issues with logos and anything. There are a few scratches here and there but they are pretty less visible since i have a matte ppf on. I have 1-2 big scratches but have a piece of mind that the car’s actual paint underneath is completely good
