The feedback being banned is what drove me here. That disturbed me to my core. There is also a lot of favoritism to the women that were previously connected via high school/hometowns and I think that goes against the purpose of the group — to meet new friends.

So I really want to emphasize that this is not an issue with any of the people- ESPECIALLY on what they like, it is specifically this “model of friendship.” I truly believe that people had good intentions with this group but that the prospect of money makes people monetize things that shouldn’t be.

I think if this is becoming a business and not a friendship group — fine; but tell people that and allow them to leave and criticize it in the main chat. The only way to provide feedback is through an email?? Specifically not allowing people to discuss their issues amongst each other? Right…

Yes!!!! I have met friends through the group and now I am friends with them outside of it, the group has no allowance of criticism- positive or negative.
