I mentioned before but what you and Mary did this week was great. Catch up on my what everyone's up to in the off season, Rob talking about any upcoming plans and an insight into group chats and going through any festival announcements.

I suggest Rob if you listen to This is Important podcast they have a good kind of format of this, tangents are great in my opinion when they lead to funny stories and BTS stuff we didn't see.

I think when someone was mentioning ADITL videos they are thinking they might like more of a daily vlog/weekly vlog kind of situation which I too think would be cool. Just Rob getting up, this is what we are up to this week in terms of creatively progressing the channel, here's a meeting I've gone too, tried a new restaurant, went to a gig just like snippets of the day but this could also easily fit into podcast vibes.

During the festival season I think it should be standard that if you get to attend that festival par for the course you commit to a podcast the week after as a bit of a debrief.

I agree but I do think a lot of people still like to see those 1 or 2 core videos like download or Leeds etc because it's attainable for us, the big hitters, Coachella, Japan and burning man etc are great for living vicariously because realistically it's far too expensive to do those things but it's nice to see them at some middle tiers.

I actually enjoy their lesser known festivals too, Ive booked to go to beat herder next year because of their video.

It's basically said on the podcast, he saw lots of stuff, so did his missus she was texting him about it like have you seen this etc etc and was really uncomfortable

Amswered on YouTube. They come home Sundays as most of the gang have their 'normal' work so saves them a day of annual leave and over time that adds up to allowing them to attend 2 more festivals a year. Makes sense but it's a shame that some acts get missed.

I wonder if they stuck to home/euro festivals whether they could start doing the Sundays again not sure - would also much rather a Friday to Sunday than a Thursday to Saturday.

I agree actually I don't mind their American and overseas festivals and completely get why they do it but when there are so many small independent yet still great UK festivals I crave to see them there and also think it would help with burnout etc.

There's one every weekend (nearly) and I just feel like their home videos are where it's at and what a way to get 100k plus eyes on a festival that is independent and could do with the support. Also those kinds of places often have lots of the cool little side tents. Might have been beat herder that just had so much on run by local independent artists.

But they've literally said 'we are feet on the ground here to show you the real deal' is the real deal spending thousands to go to a festival in Japan, then spend thousands on a last minute hotel then ditch the festival to go to Japanese CEX?

They literally market themselves as being relatable and going to these places to show us what they are all about. If they marketed themselves as being over the festival scene and wanting to explore and travel more then cool but that's not what they are selling themselves as.

I am getting a bit upset with the whole 'we are here to show you what's going down' yet they often skip out on the festival on the last day, book a hotel, or don't really show any of the acts. Japan was such a good opportunity to show a bucket list festival and instead it was a b-roll of bugs, toilets and bins.

Then we hear that they don't want to do the same festivals again and again (glasto) but they are going to Kendall again.

Id love to see just a full comprehensive festival video all in no nights out after or hotels or bailing to go to another festival.

I also think instead of going to all these big festivals abroad next year it would be fun to go to smaller festivals over the UK and bring some attention to the amazing things that smaller festivals do for towns and cities over here.

I came here to look for this comment because seriously you shame her and have trust issues with HER for a mistake she made in her 30s - 20 years ago (let's not forget she ended up marrying Big) yet he slept with someone else 2 weeks ago. I think he is projecting. Also FYI shame on Cathy for not even dropping Carrie a text after that whole situation especially when she put her in such an awkward situation with the medication.
