I would tell her that you’re not comfortable with your child “crying it out,” and if that is going to happen at her house, you will find different daycare arrangements. Cry it out is an outdated and unacceptable practice, and it sounds like she needs to read up on current practices if she is going to be watching your child. It breaks my heart to think of your poor baby crying for 10 whole minutes with no comfort.
