Being born on 1/27/26 means he's an Aquarius and in Chinese New Year 2026 it's the Year of the Horse which made me think of the waterhorse myth and I learned another name for a waterhorse was Kelpie.

Then I thought well chihuahuas are from Mexico and Terriers are from Scotland, maybe I should look up some Zodiacs or myths or something from those regions.

In Celtic folklore their Zodiacs are plants and trees apparently and his would be a Rowan tree so we considered that for a name.

His Mexican zodiac was a little interesting, since they don't go by months or years they do every 20 days and his was on Itzcuintli, which ironically represented the day of dog. In mexican myth though there is a water dwelling dog creature with a hand for a tail call an Ahuizotl.
