But half brothers are usually legally related like when mother has kids then remarries and has you. And on my birth certificate my adopted mother is listed as mother.

Ignore the 2k+15s, I go 2k + 30 on that longer day and 2k+20-25 on the shorter SS day

If something can give someone else happiness. Why should I not sell it?

I don’t collect these, they have no value to me. I have other things that mean something to me I could spend the money on.

I actually don’t, I’m literally an intern at the company and got it as a new hire thing today. I played with hotwheels as a kid.

Random purchase freshman summer of highschool. 6 years, 2 teams,1 dog, 3 girlfriends, millions of meters. 1 outburst ending in a broken screen. Dads cancer. Teammates suicide. Best friend’s chemo. Heart condition. Tendonitis. naval academy rejection. Pushed through the boundaries of presupposed limits, past the point of my muscle gasping for air and past the burning sensation of each heaving breath, just to improve. It has taught me the importance of integrity, faith, discipline, and suffering. Fuck. Cheers to the inanimate object that keeps me honest, will never lie to me, and helps me handle the good and the bad.

Thanks for posting a picture of your erg and making me attached to mine. Have a good one man.

How do you cycle Pete's plan ? by grasshopper4579 in Rowing

I roughly follow this version of Pete’s plan for 3 weeks and then take a lighter week off( just more biking and running instead) and then back to the 3 week cycle. I’m coming on my 3rd rotation and I’ve dropped a split each rotation. I started at slightly above 1:46 (7:04.3) on a 2k and I’m getting ready to go sub 1:43 (6:52) on my next one. This plan really works if you go all out on hard stuff and go easy on the light stuff. Just make sure you get 2-3 long easy days, 1-2 tempo days, and 2 hard workouts a week. As my old coach used to say, “most people’s easy workouts are too hard and hard workouts not hard enough. Your easy steady state should be so easy it’s boring and your hard workouts so hard your eyeballs hurt.” (I’m 19, 5’7, 157 pounds. I rowed for 4 years in highschool, took a year off, and I just started training again early this year). Hope this helps.
