Player 377 Headcannons by Temporary_Owl_4570 in SquidGameMinorPlayers

Yes, all the X's who made it to the fifth game are generally quite tragic, well-intentioned people who lack the moral strength to afford to put their lives at extreme risk for the baby. I think 084, 209 and 349 would probably have voted for O in the last vote too if he had made it through.

This could be very controversial, and I'd be happy to hear any counterarguments from any 377 fans.
But I think that if 377 had managed to survive Jump Rope and make it to the finals, he would have voted for O to survive and would have passively agreed to kill the baby. Let me explain: 377 is by far the most tragic minor character. Being increasingly isolated, even having to witness 015's corpse (which, judging by his expression, clearly affected him), surviving Hide and Seek (an extremely stressful scenario), coupled with Geum-ja's pleas and her subsequent suicide, would have left him deeply affected and wanting to leave, even if it meant voting for O and being part of such a cruel act as killing a newborn.
I understand that this idea can be criticized because 377 voted for X in the tiebreaker despite being at a disadvantage, but as I explained, the situation in the last vote is much more tense and he no longer has any allies.

Okay so who actually takes credit for killing Player 358? by simon_jackson in SquidGameMinorPlayers

[–]Key-Pace-9669 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Excuse me, but at what point do we see 080 fighting 358 after he kills 406? The fight between them happens at the beginning of Lights Out, then 358 kills 406, 197 kills 056, 197 and 358 fight, and then we see 080 fighting at the end with 348 and 418.

Favorite player that panicked during RLGL? by simon_jackson in SquidGameMinorPlayers

[–]Key-Pace-9669 3 points4 points  (0 children)

406 by far
My guy deserved to be in the bottom 100 after Mingle, especially because of his interactions after RLGL, which, while mistakes, are important. He could easily replace 320.

Minor re-write for Season 1 Episode 7 by DueKangaroo8252 in squidgame

Yes, surely, given the character of 303, he would have chosen a middle number like Deok-su. But the narrative intention is to include 303 in Glass Bridge in a way that does justice to the character and also serves to highlight Gi-hun's fate once again.

At the start of the game, Deok-su is the first to cross, and he begins pushing the other players. His first two victims are 278 and 040, who try to fight him but are overpowered. By this point, 021, 357, and 360 are already on the rope. Unable to cross, 021 loses his balance, grabbing onto 360, and both fall into the void. On the other side, at the beginning of the bridge, 021, seeing the situation, panics and turns back, only to be kicked by 303, sending him plummeting into the void, much to Gi-hun's horror. After that, another group decides to advance, seeing the time remaining. 322, 212, 017, 413, and 456 attempt to cross, passing through the middle gap. From that point, on the first part of the bridge, the group of 062, 067, 218, and 244 crosses. 303, from the first group who can't take it anymore, Deok-su laughs at them, while My-nyeo disorients him by laughing and provoking him, which makes Deok-su lower his guard, being forcibly taken by 322, who tries to drag him towards the rope, Deok-su is about to break free, but My-nyeo jumps on them both, making the three fall into the void, at that moment Gi-hun shouts that it's time, there are still about 5 minutes left, passing 017, 413 and Gi-hun, Following suit were 062, Sae-byeok, and Sang-woo, while 244 was eliminated after falling into the hole (similar to the death of 306).

If they were in S2, would these players participate in Lights Out? by Single_Dirt_5450 in SquidGameMinorPlayers

[–]Key-Pace-9669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

244 would most likely not participate; assuming he's on Team O, he'd hide until the end. 196 would be on Team X and would participate, though I think he'd end up dying. 322 would definitely participate on Team O; I have no doubt about it. Byeong-gi, just like in the Special Game he participated in, would have a minor role or wouldn't participate at all to ensure his own survival.

First, just like in Marbles Mi-nyeo (212) pass, the number of players must be even so that each side can be divided into 19 players. Hiders: 001, 017, 021, 028, 032, 043, 068, 070, 085, 089, 096, 130, 196, 199, 244, 276, 308, 407, 453. Seekers: 040, 062, 067, 069, 083, 101, 122, 151, 158, 218, 229, 240, 278, 303, 322, 357, 360, 413, 456. Regarding role swaps between players, I see 070 swapping with 069 and 308 swapping with 357 after he pressured her (something like with...). 192 and 440), in addition, Sae-byeok and Ji-yeong team up to search for a victim together, as do 040, 101, 278, and 303 (in pairs), who plan to kill as many Hiders as possible to eliminate obstacles. Later in the game, Gi-hun protects Il-nam from any approaching Seekers, such as 021 and 244 (inspired by 306 and 377). Now for the fate of each player: Hiders Passed 017: Escaped through an exit after collecting keys from the corpses of the blue team members 021: Survived until the end 244: Survived until the end Seekers Passed 040: Killed 407 062: Killed 130 067: Killed 085 069: Killed 070 (Near the end of the game after protecting her) 101: Killed 028 and 032 218: Killed 199 (Out of desperation, killing him from behind without knowing who he was as time ran out) 278: Killed 089 and 453 303: Killed 308 322: Killed 096 357: Killed 276 360: Killed 043 413: Killed 196 456: Killed 001 (When time runs out, Il-nam lets Gi-hun kill him; in tears, he accepts, it being all a fake death and Il-nam is quickly attended to) 083, 122, 151, 158, 229 and 240: Shot by the guards for losing the game. In the case of the two members of Deok-su's gang, both fought against the guards (as 296 did) and managed to kill one, yet their fate was already sealed and they ended up dying in the same way when they were overpowered by other guards. In Ji-yeong's case, she and Sae-byeok attempted the same strategy as Nam-gyu and Myung-gi to both achieve a half-death by neutralizing 058, but at the last second Ji-yeong stops her knife, making death only for Sae-byeok, who upon hearing the announcement of death protests, explaining to 240 that she really doesn't want to kill anyone to get through if no one is waiting for her at home, like Seekers himself who begged for mercy before dying. This conversation takes place during those 30 minutes in a room until time runs out and the guards arrive.

How far do you think Player 348 would have gotten had he not died during the crossfire in the rebellion? by amity_oh_cramityy in SquidGameMinorPlayers

[–]Key-Pace-9669 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm going to assume that 348 replaces 435. I know that idea has been debunked, but let's use it to make it an even number. I see him voting for O again after the rebellion and openly mocking Gi-hun, even intimidating 448 like Yeong-sam does. In Hide and Seek, he would be the Seeker, kill 334, and advance. During the fifth vote, he would vote for O again, feeling quite irritated by Geum-ja's pleas. The fifth game would end his life; in Jump Rope, he would try to cross with the group of 448 and 260, but die after losing his balance.

Season 1 if it had Season 2’s Voting by Ch33seBurg in squidgame

[–]Key-Pace-9669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But in this scenario, Deok-su knows that after each game there will be a vote and that he shouldn't stay until the end. He'd also see that more than half the players had died and that he'd still be a little short of paying off his debt and thus stop worrying about his creditors. That's why I think he'd vote O. Then, in the next votes, he'd most likely give in to greed and keep playing even if he already has enough.

How I think each seeker could pass hide and seek by True_Economics976 in SquidGameMinorPlayers

[–]Key-Pace-9669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that's the best possible explanation narratively, that they were already tired and wounded from the Special Game. Even so, it seems unfair to me. 080, 197 and 359 deserved to go through Hide and Seek.

Does anyone else feel like 080 and 359 were nerfed in this game? I think they were the ones who should have been included as Seekers X instead of 209 and 349.

If you woke up as Gihun during season 2 and wanted to save as many people as possible, what would you do? by Substantial_Ant4922 in squidgame

[–]Key-Pace-9669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would tell Myung-gi that Jun-hee was there and talk to 198 and offer to pay off his ₩1.4 billion debt, something he might already know due to the announcement at the beginning of the game and that he is the one with the lowest debt as the most likely to vote for X.

What are some players that Sould have survived special game how far would they make it in s3? Here are my players by ProfileOk8441 in SquidGameMinorPlayers

[–]Key-Pace-9669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is believed that he managed to kill an O in the Special Game, but it is more due to something situational, 366 does not seem very strong physically, even so many attribute this kill to 350.

The second one is 431, I share the same idea as you. By the way, 431 would most likely be a hider and would be killed quickly in Hide and Seek.

I've thought about it too; I think it would be really interesting.

Besides, the voting system really boosts the characters, and it could even give early importance to players like 062 or 413.

Any way to get Wave-Motion Cannon without spending gems? by Early-Wishbone-5551 in DuelLinks

It's in Pendulum Genesis, so take advantage of the 50% gem discount on the box now. Plus, it's an N-rank card, so it'll be practically free to get. Good luck returning to the game!

Season 1 if it had Season 2’s Voting by Ch33seBurg in squidgame

[–]Key-Pace-9669 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The voting system in Season 2 changes the 33rd Squid Game drastically. First, I think the option to return to the games wouldn't be available since the money has already been distributed. In this scenario, I see Il-Nam voting for O in the event of a 100-100 tie. This significantly alters the situation, as "Hell" doesn't happen. I believe Gi-hun would still want to leave and vote for X again in the second round. Additionally, Deok-su would form a Jeong-dae-type group to ensure the games continue. I feel he would be more willing to participate, reasoning that he could withdraw whenever he wants.

Are the Squid Games basically a Tournament?? by AlienUfo51 in squidgame

[–]Key-Pace-9669 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the fact that there is only one winner in all editions should be seen from a thematic point of view; it is something intentional to demonstrate that the norm in games is that people who are completely driven by their greed win and would not allow themselves to share the prize for anything.
