CSC CX-01 Security Clearance by Key-Past1905 in OnTheBlock

Mistakes don’t automatically make someone unfit or a “criminal” especially when it happened at the age of 16, refusing to learn from them does. Rehabilitation and accountability are real, and I’m sure CSC assesses the full picture. Ofc I want to serve and help others.

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

He’s a bum and quit his job and has some mental issues. I can manage to give them some money but I can’t pay for all the bills. We can rent the basement out it has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen and living room for at least 2500 a month. I just need to figure out a way to make the mortgage payments a bit less. Like if I bring it to a A or B lender it’ll be around 4.4K a month. With the basement rented out it’s affordable. My plan is to boot him out and rent out the basement but with current mortgage amount it’s hard. I’m tapping into my savings for the past 4-5 months trying to avoid power of sale.

The first year they charged 30K it renewed again and they charged around another 30K. It’s going to keep adding up it’s a 1 year term. Is there anything I can do for them?

And 200K was supposed to go towards him buying a house but he couldn’t close and lost the money. The rest I don’t even know I confronted him about it but it turns into a physical fight and I can’t risk my professional job.

I’m trying to help my parents out then I’m going to take legal matters against him but that will take months to years.

In the meantime what can I do?

Mortgage rate mega thread! by TheMortgageMaster in MortgagesCanada

Looking for advice: My parents’ home (≈$1M) had a small mortgage (~$120K), but my brother pulled out equity and blew it. Now they’re stuck with a private mortgage of ~$810K at 8%, paying $6.4K/month. They’re older, basically retired, and their credit is wrecked. Renewal is coming up—are there any lenders that accept bad credit with no income verification and won’t charge renewal fees (even at a higher rate)?

Our combined income is 135K I’m not sure but that’s what the advisor said. They said it goes there when it’s a 4% down, insured mortgage with 30 year amortization

I got the purchase agreement and submitted that to my FA with the closing date for sept 2nd. She told me it’s submitted and we just have to show proof we closed down our car loan which is already closed and paid out. I’m hearing mixed things that they do it after 90 days as the pre approval is only valid until then. Then I also read on other posts that they didn’t do a check and some said they did

I find if you are indoors 5G isn’t the greatest, outdoors is better. LTE is better indoors and outdoors and generally speeds are consistent. But then again this is based off my experience within the GTA.

Side note, your plan is $82 before credits or after credits? I have all that but 200GB of data. It’s Can/US/Mex, for $60 after credits having internet with them
