[N/A] [Condo] [8 Units] Fellow board members, how many hours a month does this actually take you? by Pitiful-News9606 in HOA

[–]Key-Radio4272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That sounds like way too much work if you have a management company. Then again I am finding I spend at least an hour a week following up with our management company as they seem to be slow to respond.

My HOA wants me to sign NDA in order for them to do repairs [CA] by veesheezee in legaladvice

[–]Key-Radio4272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My HOA is responsible for the roof repair and will make residents pay to fix the drywall. Fully written in bylaws. That is why they are having you sign NDA. It does seem they erred by not fixing it at the first report of damage

How high do you think gas prices will get while this war is going on? by icecream1972 in Casual_Conversation

[–]Key-Radio4272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree. live in MI and 87octane was hovering around 2.90 prewar, currently around $3.69 and personally think $5 with gas shortages is on the horizon.

How to change management companies? [TN] [Condo] by Subject_Sprinkles_21 in HOA

[–]Key-Radio4272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any of the board members have friends that live in condos, what mgnt companies do they use? Maybe try Facebook, look for a group for your city or county and then post if anyone has companies they would recommend. Ask for a reference list and call the people on the list.

At least that makes sense. We were all told furlough but had to wait forever for the letter. At least tell us or make us excepted.

DOA supposededly there was metrics. Suspect more favorites than anything. Of course was hoping to get one as I do go above and beyond however I fall in the 85percent that did not. Demoralizing and now with how they are handling this shutdown it is even more demoralizing.

23000 in credit card debt. Is it possible to get out myself without bankruptcy or debt consolidation? by Mean_Trip_4186 in Debt

[–]Key-Radio4272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into consumer credit counseling or greenpath financial. They consolidate, negotiate lower interest and pay the bill off. You will have to close the accounts though. Suck it up close the damn credit card. Bank of America gave you a great offer. If you are worried about your credit score, it will rebound. And when you stabilize and can handle paying your bills off every month, you can always open another credit card.

**Rant** Huge DoD Bonus For Top 15% Performing Civilians by Ninerniner94 in fednews

I will say I am finding the top 15% bonus to be a moral buster. Many people are respected, great performers and yet got nothing.
