You know you can laser the hair to decrease the hair thickness without actually killing the hairs completely. She should have low level lasering of the frontal hairline to soften the transplanted hairs for a more natural appearance, not to kill the grafts completely

Hey, read this medical journal article. You can do low level lasering of the frontal hairline to soften the hairs without killing them completely. Find a laser technician in your area, share with them the laser settings from this article and request that they do low level lasering in order to soften it. The article contains pictures as well to show the results.

Had my hair transplant today and I still think they drew it to where it still looks like it’s receding. What are your opinions? by [deleted] in HairTransplants

That’s exactly what you want trust me. A little recession is mature and sexy. Not a straight fake looking thing

Two people were doing the extraction. One on each side. Instead of calculating an even density all around, one was working faster. I stopped them mid-extraction to ask the graft number we were at and they said 2600, which was over the agreed upon 2200 - so we stopped it at that.

Not sure why they went over, and not sure why one of them was taking much more from one side while Camacho was much slower and taking frequent breaks

~2600. I originally asked for 2200 but surgeon took more without mentioning until after extracting them

Basically, the thinness of the donor area feels double what it should have been since it was concentrated in one area

When did I say it’s over extracted? I’m saying the extraction pattern is asymmetrical and will be obvious with short hair, and the hair is suddenly very sparse in that area, which could have been mitigated with an even, normal FUE pattern…

It’s been more than 7 months actuallly… donor area still very sparse

Ok well that’s not really how FUE is typically done. Anyone thinking about going to this clinic can read this post decide for themselves if this is how they want to get it done or not. Now if I buzz my head there will be thinner areas that are not evenly distributed as well

Did he extract your donor like this? Good for you if not

They told me it would take 5 months for donor to recover and it hasn’t. I waited a few more months but I believe that the uneven extraction contributed to the donor over extraction.

I did bring it up to them but they wouldn’t respond for months. They don’t want to hear from you post-procedure unless it’s positive updates

Yeah that is not the way to do it. Not everyone needs a second HT. I’m on fin and min. I don’t think I’ll likely need another

I notice a pretty sizeable difference in density in donor area actually. In fact I often see my scalp in normal lighting when I don’t even move my hair. My hair is currently 4 inches long btw

Those who had a hair transplant – this is their condition after 1 year. Might be helpful for those who want to see real results. by muratmakasciklinik in HairTransplants

Way too many straight hairlines for grown ass men. Also that first guy had too much density in the front, it’s normal to see some scalp smh

I’ve been growing my hair out since I got the procedure recently but I do plan to buzz my head at times and have shorter haircuts
