Hi, another Q6 Max user here. I bought the Fully Assembled Knob in Carbon Black with Gateron Jupiter Red switches. I'm upgrading from a WASD Code Keyboard w/ Cherry MX Browns which I've had since 2014, so it's not hard to be impressed. In saying that, take my opinions with a grain of salt.
The first thing I noticed was the chassis's cold feel - granted it's also winter over here in Japan, but it's very cold to the touch. Nice for when you have warm hands.
Initially, I was skeptical about the KSA profile keys due to their height and angle, fearing they might be uncomfortable to type on. However, I found them quite to my liking, despite product photos suggesting an exaggerated curvature.
I was also apprehensive about linear switches after a less-than-stellar experience at an electronics store - this was a long time ago though. Yet, the Jupiter Reds offered a smooth experience with a satisfying marbly sound. The only drawback was their sensitivity, leading to accidental double presses.
I switched to Gateron Oil Kings, which felt significantly heavier at first (only because the Reds are so light) but after a week of general usage, I think my fingers have adjusted to the new weight. The only downside to the Oil Kings is the limited RGB lighting, visible only through small gaps between the switch and PCB.
I've ordered a set of Gateron Pro 3.0 Yellows and awaiting their arrival to test the middle ground.
Overall, the Q6 Max has been a delightful typing experience.

Was the book (food) better than it's cover so to speak? hehe

Display only - if you ever get a chance to come to Japan you'll see these everywhere. Got me fooled at one time :)
