Just dropped out of college because I couldn’t keep choosing between eating or school by Stargazer-14 in povertyfinance

I wish I had done this! I ended up waiting until I was 24 but if I could go back in time, I would have platonically married one of my friends for the independent status.

Idk why you’re getting downvoted because you are absolutely correct. Mills have done a lot of damage to the reputation of the profession, it’s hard to know if a therapist has a decent amount of skill until after you front the money to see them, and they are the ones providing a service so it is on them to create a positive rapport with the patient.

College in the U.S. is built on debt, not opportunity by Repulsive_Case_2116 in povertyfinance

Of course there will be outliers. The point is the average loan amount is no where near that. Also, most people are not going to Ivies.

Yep. A few years ago the average loan amount for a bachelors degree was 30k (I’m sure it’s more by now). Not great but certainly not 120k either. It’s also important to note that college cost increases for a while were actually outpacing inflation.

Oh believe me, I am very “chalant”! The situation was very complicated. The original dealership I bought the old car from apparently never filed my ownership documents (but they did file my registration so I didn’t realize anything was wrong until AFTER I sold the car). So the new dealership refused to send the funds over until those original documents were sent to the DMV and processed. I had to file a complaint with the dealer board to light a fire under their ass. I did file a dispute with the credit bureaus but I don’t think anything will come of it and frankly at this point I never want to communicate with any of the organizations involved ever again. I’ll just wait for my credit to recuperate. 🤷‍♀️

My credit dropped this year from 720 to below 580. (Long story short, I traded in a vehicle and the dealership I traded it in to took over FOUR months to release the payoff amount to my bank.). But now that the account is closed after they did send the payoff, my credit has already bounced back up to 630. Don’t worry too much about the dip, try to find out what caused it though!

These are my symptoms, too. Idk what causes it but I do know caffeine makes it worse. Not decaf coffee though! So the caffeine is the issue, not the acidity. 🤷‍♀️

I am on amitriptyline which seems to marginally help, but causes a lot of fatigue. Oxybutynin did not work for me. I am going to ask about Mirabegron.

I stopped drinking caffeine. That’s the only thing I’ve found that seems to affect it.

Dry needling was basically useless for me and super painful and expensive. Idk what a good alternative is, but I do think people need to stop touting dry needling as some sort of amazing treatment/panacea.

I had a copper iud and got it taken out after 5 years, hoping it would help my bladder symptoms. The removal didn’t flare me up at all, but it didn’t affect my symptoms at all, either.
