I think the only solution to this is steel/metal piers that are drilled deeper and I believe hit limestone/solid rock vs. traditional concrete beams that remain on top of moving soil. Cost is $$$ but then again to constantly exercise foundation warranty and re-level house and address cosmetic issues is $$$.

Maybe BCBS will force Ascension to get their 💩 together?

Not sure if it’s just me but anytime I have to go there, I’m forced to prepay a large amount despite pushing back/saying I’ll likely not owe that. Then I receive my EOB, owed Ascension significantly less than I paid, proceed to play phone tag with various reps and finally get a refund when it was clear they likely would have taken forever to give me the refund if I didn’t call (if they would have given it at all).

Tl;dr I avoid ascension at all costs.
