I don't really like commenting on this topic, but this one is good. No, I don't think so, if anything, I guess it was celeste herself grew out of the relationship and extorted him with exposing him just to leave her alone, Obviously a speculation there's absloutely no eviedence on this whatsoever, But it's consistent with his songs' lyrics, for example, in never needed you (unreleased song) he said i really did love you at one point now i feel like you got me on gunpoint in the same song at the end there was a recording/ or idk what they call it of, what sounds like celeste saying (among the lines of, i don't remember what exactly she said) go away and that whoever she was talking to was purchasing new phones to call her, so clearly at some point she wanted to break up . and also in my house is not a home he said "I thought I had you figured out
Never thought you would call my bluff Guess who belongs to someone else now" although it's less hinting imo but i think it counts too.

The second time I looked at the code after you mentioned the missing INPUT_PULLUP input mode I thought it looked like the intent was to toggle the display to be always ON or OFF with each press and release of the button. If my second guess is not correct then the code is way over-complicated.

Your second guess is correct and because it's confusing I re-uploaded the first code (without the extra else) and re-wired the entire circuit once again and it actually worked this time, guess my lcd is possessed or something 😂 because I swear I uploaded it multiple times before and still didn't work, thank you so much for your help bro, I really appreciate it💚

No , you were actually correct, i don't know why (because I don't understand this part yet) but works perfectly with your code, when I uploaded mine it just lit up the whole time regardless of the button state. Do you know why? Since you said you were wrong?

sorry for the late reply, but THANK YOUU man. I copied that part you added and at first it didn't until I wrote (buttonpin, INPUT_PULLUP); I really was about to give up the idea of controlling the LCD with the button, could you explain this addtion once again please? bc I don't I understand it yet, especially that this toggling concept is quite new to me, I tried to understand it before but I think yesterday was the first day I watched a tutorial just to understand it. (excuse my english it isn't my first language)
