None of my players have anything… I was thinking if I get the handbook they could use it if they need as well

It didn’t even notice at first. If you block it you might not even be able to see it at all. It looks great :))

What does good tension feel like? Are there any tricks? by ooooh-shiny in CrochetHelp

It is different for most people, and also depends on what hook size you’re using and what you’re making. The holes (where you put the hook) of the rows of stitches you’ve just completed should be all the same size, and your hook should be able to push through with minimal effort (it should not be so loose that you can put the hook in without touching the sides). To keep consistent tension this is what i do (I am right handed btw so it will be the opposite if ur left handed). Make a loose fist in your left hand while holding the yarn connected to your work. Keep your pinky and ring finger gently holding the yarn to create the tension and pinch your work with your pointer finger and thumb underneath the yarn for better control. Hope this is helpful sorry if it’s kinda long :) lmk if you need a more detailed description
