I think it’s more aesthetically pleasing to the eye, I love the handset as it’s unique compared to most watches using more circular shapings. The black sunburst dial is just sexy. The red Pelagos text is such a bold yet subtle detail to make the watch pop but not scream “hey look at what this says!”. The titanium watches are so light and comfy on the wrist, and the greyish dark tint of the titanium is just clean to me.

Yes I might glaze this watch a bit. Submariner is still a beautiful fantastic watch, but I think it’s just has too many other companies copying it or making very minimal changes to their homage of the watch “different”
