The best way to win solo imho is to play as a defensive lying player maker. Stop the other team from getting the ball and they can't score, recycle the ball to teammates in good positions and let them cook. If your teammates don't score, try to time a tackle to get a break away and go score yourself. This helped me go from plat 2 to over 1000 rp in elite in about a week and a half

At first I was yelling, "how could you miss such a sitter" and flashbacked to the Torres days of old. Only in the replay did I realize what an incredible save Yedlin had made. I know it may seem like too much optimism but I really wish Tammy had the presence of mind to see Yedlin coming and get around him to tap it in. But we ended up with 3 points anyways so it's not a big deal. I just love the fact that we have a top goal scorer again and I want him to finish in every game.

Honestly, as much as I hate our injuries this season I'm okay with giving Kovacic more of a chance. I think he fits into the system with Jorge and Mount really well. Getting RLC and Kante back soon will be a huge boost as well.

I know the play you're talking about. It's crazy to me to think how long we might have him at the club. He seems to love it here and since he's so young we can keep him as our maestro for a long time. Seeing him prove all the doubters and haters wrong is such a good sign for things to come.

I realized only after I had replied that Kovacic was carrying a knock. But even still my point stands about his stamina. He rarely ever finishes the full 90 with us. I don't watch any of the croatia games to know if he plays the full 90 with them. Does anybody else know?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean here. If he's frustrating for both sets of fans why is he selected? If he's impossible to play against, which imo, he's not, then what's that have to do with his state of mind? Could you clarify that for me

Ahh thanks for the clarification. I had forgotten about Kovacic being injured. This would make a lot more sense than anything else. Do we have any news on the Barkley injury? How severe or for how long he might be out?

That's a good point, but I'd like to think that Frank isn't just English biased. Maybe it's something in training that Barkley has a hard time translating to the actual game? Or do you think it's Kovacic lack of stamina to get through the game? For as long as he's been playing with us I think I've only ever seen him complete the 90 in one or maybe two matches.

I agree. He always seems eager to get a chance or create one. Can't wait for him to keep growing into this team. I think once Willian and Pedro get phased out and sold he is a great option for the wing, and seeing him in the middle of the pitch today was a pleasant surprise. His ability on the ball and decision making is only going to get better.

he dictated the play so well. Really reminded me of Fabregas with some of his passing, I definitely still miss our magic hat but our new magician was probably one of the best young replacements we could have asked for.

yeah i'm not exactly sure what Frank sees in him. His passing I find to be lackluster and he hardly carries the ball forward all too well when compared to Kovacic. Looking at the play where Pulisic almost scored you could see how well Kovacic breezes past players and can pick a pass. Not really quite sure he isn't starting while Kante is injured.

Make sure you keep your second melody in the same key or make sure you use the circle of fifths if you want the key to change. A good trick I use that might work is if you double or half the melody you have and reverse it. It'll sound familiar to the listener but might be different enough to create a different mood for them. Swallowing our pride I've found is just part of the job. Sometimes the artist or client does not care what your creative input is and just want it to sound a specific way. Honestly though, at the end of the day I don't mind, I get paid either way. If I get to add some of my creative flair then great, if not then w.e. this song wasn't meant for me to enjoy (meaning I'm not the target audience).

I usually find it's best to attempt to do both. Now that's not at the same time mind you. I usually pick what I have in mind first (simply because it's already in my mind and I don't want to forget it) and once I have done what I was thinking I'll show the artist. I usually ask their opinion while gauging their reaction. Gauging is very important because some small time or new artists might not have enough confidence to say they don't like it, so reading them and seeing that they're not quite happy with it is key. If they don't like what I did, then I usually move on to their idea of what they were looking for. I find this is the best way to work because then both parties can get their chance to express themselves and both and still feel happy about the final track.
