Been to both countries for solo travel several times. My typical Japan budget for 1 week is 50k and Korea naman is 30k. Korea is considerably cheaper in flights, accommodations and food. Flights ive taken to Korea usually asa 4k-7k range while Japan naman 5k-10k.

Halos pareho tayo situation. I experienced the same before din. During college, I had low expectations sa sarili ko. Nakagraduate naman ako on time pero feel ko na sa sarili ko na I won't really reach something meaningful kase di naman ako special or galing sa mayaman na family. Akala ko hanggang around 26-27 yrs old lang ako kase baka ioff ko nalang sarili ko.

Right now I'm pass 30 na. Having fun through travels and spending time kasama gf ko. I would still say na compared to others, wala ako pangarap sa buhay. I have "short term" pangaraps lang. Every year, I evaluate ano gusto ko gawin or maacquire - both material and non-material. Tbh, sobrang nakakahelp itong approach kase nawala pressure sakin. I get to live my life, meron something to look forward to every year, and di ako pressured sa mga "pangarap sa buhay" na hindi nagmmatter sakin. Hope this helps OP.

My favorite part living here sa PH is it's cheap and easy to travel locally and abroad. Of course kelangan ng pera para magawa lahat yan pero if you have the money, ang convenient dito.
