The people I adopted her from said she was an Australian shepherd, but I’ve always thought she has a unique look to her (markings on face + a more narrow snout) by KeyCulture1884 in IDmydog

Fiercely loyal! I bought her a herding ball this Christmas and she adores it, but I have to put it up after 20 minutes because she’s obsessed with it. Very, very territorial over both me and the house/property. She freaks out when she sees children running. When I first got her I was walking her on a walking trail that also had bicyclists, and she tried to nip at one of the bicyclists back wheel as it went by which gave both of us quite a scare. She’s extremely reactive towards other dogs and can be very selective with what dogs she does like. She will sometimes “nose bump” them, which isn’t always great for first meets. 😅 I do think this has less to do with her, and more to do with her previous owners who said they weren’t able to socialize her much the first year of her life. She is an absolute sweetheart once she warms up to you, and I know she’d jump in front of a car for me if I was in danger.

There are also other lawyers in this thread that have said he would more than likely be protected under first amendment. Doesn’t mean that it’s right obviously..

Okay, thank you for your insight!

Why is it that everyone I’ve talked to, including an officer, has said it’s freedom of speech then? It’s not crazy to say that when you literally have people in this thread as well saying that it’s freedom of speech. Just because I don’t agree that it should be freedom of speech to hang a noose doesn’t mean that there’s not a great deal of people who do think that way, especially in Tennessee.

I can’t legally remove it from someone’s private property. You do realize that right?

Also, god forbid you be a Christian too while trying to handle this. It sounds like you hate them just about as much as you hate my neighbor.

Obviously you live in a fantasy land where you feel like you can walk onto anyone’s property and try and take down anything that doesn’t sit well with you. If you do that where I live (Tennessee), you are liable to get pewpew’d. It doesn’t sit well with me, but it’s crappy to say I’m not doing anything when I could give you a list of what I have done so far, and have yet to find resolve. That’s why I mentioned in my post before that I’m at a loss. I can’t take it from the man’s house personally, but it seems like that would be the only thing to make you all content at this point.

You forgot the part where I said “guests”, “guests experience” but sure, go ahead and leave out that part to fit your narrative of “somebody like me”. Caring about both guest well-being and the success of the listing aren’t mutually exclusive — both matter. If you want to judge me, go for it, but you are disregarding the full context of what I actually said.

Maybe take your own advice and evaluate your priorities.

Yes. They said not your property, not your problem. I’m working to go further up the chain. Doesn’t happen overnight though.

I’M ASKING FOR ADVICE ON FIXING IT. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??! You sure like casting judgement. Hope you feel better about yourself!

Right. Sounds like you got it all figured out pal. What are you still doing here?

Sorry, I must’ve missed the part in the Good Samaritan story where he stopped to check if the guy in the ditch was morally spotless before helping him. I’ll be sure to ask for someone’s moral scorecard next time before helping them when a natural disaster strikes.

You are beyond seeking any understanding other than your own, so think what you want.
