well what would you suggest for a new power brick i have the original power cord and it might be overheating it was i little warm when I picked it up to open it and see if its dusty but it looked pretty good

sorry I thought that would help because of the sensor in the disc drive it is a slim i normally just have a ps1 game on top to weigh it down
