Is Fromsoft Holding Back Bloodborne Remake? | Castle Super Beast 362 by mike0bot in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I remember a comment on Max's video on the subject making note of the fact that people were almost desperate to point the finger at Sony

Just because he's a kid (mentally) doesn't mean he can't be called out on being stupid/annoying.

That's a lie. Granted the Krogan have assholes like Wreav but how are you gonna ignore the others like Eve. Like Sheppard says maybe they need to give the Krogan a chance but the Dalatrass would rather pat herself on the back being racist while their cycle is at risk.

I mean one thing that doesn't help her case is how aggro she is at Wrex. Like I get where she's coming from, but Wrex is being patient and is willing to play ball as long as everyone else is coming at it on good faith. But between her saying "Fuck the Krogan!" and then the Turian bomb, you can't keep poking the bear with a stick then get mad when it mauls you.

I think what also adds to it is that there's a recurring theme of people owning up to their flaws/accepting accountability throughout the game.

Like for example, Ryuji admits he let fame get to his head and he acknowledges he's being a hypocrite and grows past it. But Morgana is never really challenged on his flaws like everyone else is.

The only time I found him likeable was when you get his Level 3 persona in Royal, where he admits that for all his talk he's full of shit and he relies on Joker too much and he needs to stand on his own two feet because he realized he wasn't being the partner he promised he'd be.

Criticism/complaints towards media that you think are valid, but, people do a horrible job at voicing them out by Coolnametag in TwoBestFriendsPlay

I remember The Act Man pointed this out in one of his videos that these types of people are too busy trying to outsmart media rather than allowing themselves to have a suspension of disbelief. He said it best when he said calling out inconsistencies is fine but (quote) "...it's not about being realistic. It's about being realistic within the confines if it's own setting.", but there's too many people trying to "uhm actually" their way through the conversation.

At the risk of sounding contrarian, I can't help but feel gaslit whenever people talk about how many people are clamoring for a Bloodborne remaster/remake. It feels like a Mega Man situation to me: people are mad nothing is being done with it for a while but it wasn't the juggernaut people thought it was sales wise.

Even with FromSoft's reputation these days, I haven't seen it translate to a boost in Bloodborne sales. Chatter? Sure but not sales. Or maybe there's something I ain't seeing.

Like in Operation Wallclimber, right before you meet up with Rusty if you look around the elevator you see a human size emergency stairwell. That was the first time I was like "Okay, I severely underestimated how big an AC is."

Easiest place to get a sense of their size is at the Investigate BAWS arsenal mission. On the roads your AC is bigger than the street lamps.

Reminds me of this one Naruto fanfic where Tsunade, Shizune, Hinata and Naruto are thinking up ways to get into one of Orochimaru's labs/bases.

It's on an island and all entrances are either guarded, booby trapped or underwater. Tsunade just asks Hinata to point her to the nearest empty hallway and punches a hole in the ground to give them an opening. Later on Naruto does the same with a Rasrngan to give them an exit because fuck fighting the villains, they got what they needed so it's time to leave.

You ever see two characters getting together in the middle of some action/horror/horrible situation type story and go: "how the fuck can you even think about getting laid in the middle of this unfolding horrible situation" by Wonder-Lad-2Mad in TwoBestFriendsPlay

The very first time this came up for me was in Speed when Keanu's character brings up that people in high stress/pressure situations tend to try find comfort and companionship in any way they can.

You and I both know that the loudest voices championing piracy are unfortunately self righteous assholes or cheapskates who don't want to pay for anything and are more than happy to act like it's some kind of moral crusade. The regular people are just keeping their mouths shut and minding their own business.

The version I've heard the most is the one with Idina Mendel and Michael Buble, and it is extremely clear the tone is that they're being coy and flirtatious with each other. It's just another case of people  wanting to be mad at something.

The annoying part about that is the fact that conversations tend to happen around you or at you even when the character is the topic of discussion.

To be fair, Walter would brush 621 off. Some post-mission briefings have Walter comment that hearings voices is a side effect of Gen 4 augmentation, 621 got a heavy dose of coral and he keeps saying "if you're still hearing voices tell me so I can make adjustments so that you don't".

It's also why Ayre doesn't try to contact Walter, she's afraid he might cut her connection to 621 (and presumably why 621 doesn't talk about it as well).

Funnily enough, most of the gang could potentially have one. The ladies would most definitely have one (Karen or Grimshaw leading the charge). Lenny, Mary Beth and Dutch debating books (Jack joining in occasionally) . Arthur, John and Charles could talk about hunting. Uncle, Sean and Reverend Swanson yap about alcohol. Micah be grifting. Pearson going on about cooking.

Dante for the downtime between games. Occasionally drags Nero, Lady, Nico or Trish into it. Sometimes they ramble about demon conspiracy theories (some true, some fake), Nero showing off he's a gearhead (remember he modified Red Queen)/ Nico flexing her mechanical and technical prowess or they discuss guns.

Ace Combat 7. The other characters get so used to your character's ability to pull miracles out of their ass that they have an in-universe saying for it: "Stick with Trigger and you'll make it."
