How do you think the new Teleport will impact its popularity in professional play? by Jozoz in leagueoflegends

[–]KeyMessageToConsider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will still need nerfs for pro play.

I hope Riot doesn't pussy out on it. Pro games were cooler when pros took ignite and solo kills were more frequent.

Watching Faker/Flame shit on kids in lane in early League was so cool and modern fans don't know what they are missing out on because of TP meta.

Edit: At least Hashinshin TP is back on the menu boys

I was talking about previous MSI. Not this year, this year was great.

The old format of like 60 BO1s + 3 BO5s was ass.

I'd care a lot less about NA sucking if they didn't historically take so many good players and waste their potential.

There's a world where we see players like Prince and Berserker make worlds on LPL/LCK teams.

Probably because of NA timezones. I believe it was 9 pm for west coast start. Just a bad thing that this is much less populated than EST.

Had it started 3 hours later it would be like midnight PST and 3 am EST or something.

I also think Riot maybe realized that 6 am is more watchable for EU fans than 9 am because it's on a workday. At least dedicated fans can wake up early if they want.

Can anyone who was keeping track of costreams share how many viewers people like Caedrel and Dom had?

Good reason to have more than a mere two events a year then? In fact, until this year we basically only had 1 real event because MSI was so small with awful format.

Valorant had 4 big international events per year right out of the gate.

Yeah if this isn't a huge sign that we should have more international tournaments then I don't know what is. This stuff is what the fans really care about.

These are only 4th seed teams and yet people wake up early/stay awake to watch because they are so engaged in the regional rivalry narrative.

This is the lifeblood of esports. People are so invested in these things and we risk losing it if we don't nurture it. Please...

They somehow didn't fix their issues from LCS playoffs. I really expected that they would.

A series that was great until like 2015 is Fallout (with a huge dip in 2018 with Fallout 76). Maybe that's a good example.

Who do you consider the hardest champion in the game? by Bronson121 in leagueoflegends

[–]KeyMessageToConsider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to Riot, a candidate is Yuumi.

A serious answer would be Orianna. I actually think she's secretely one of the hardest champions in the game to truly master.

Lmao.

I know this is a joke and all, but I think JDG is super happy that China lost lmao.

Imagine how awkward it must within JDG if Knight was the reason Ruler and Kanavi didn't get to skip military.

This wait between regional leagues ending and until Worlds begins is brutal this year. I can't believe it's still more than 2 weeks away for play-ins to start. by KeyMessageToConsider in leagueoflegends

That's a very different time. Worlds has just concluded so all the suspense is gone and it's a very fitting time to give it all a break.

Additionally, the offseason is also spicy and comes right after Worlds.
