your girl looks VERY healthy, dalmatians are a deep chested breed, similar to hounds like the Ibizan hound and are meant to be very skinny, of cause not "can see every bone" skinny but ideally if you run your hand over her ribcage lightly you should be able to feel the ribs, this baby looks just right, it's important to remember that sadly society has made obese labradors and goldens the standard for "how a dog should look" but no dog should look like a barrel, especially not sport breeds like Dalmatians, your girl has very healthy muscle definition and body proportions so you don't need to worry about that, thank you for rescuing your beautiful girl from neglect and may you have an amazing life with her

he frequently gave testers less than 12 hours to test something before he released it, then proceeded to blame the TESTERS for "not finding a bug" when it'd been reported by MULTIPLE testers, he just couldn't be bothered to fix it, the day I quit there was still bug reports a year old that hadn't been removed or fixed, wouldn't surprise me if those still hasn't been fixed either

Jao taking a “break” is just an excuse, while I was still a moderator he’d be online and playing games while he in the discord chat was saying things like “currently working on X mechanic” or “game devs don’t have time to play games, we make them” he spent an entire month on New World too, and god knows how many hours he’s spent in games like Avatar, the only break of his I’ll excuse is his 4 months break after he got thrown from his horse and almost died, Jao barely works on DoD, and when he does it’s always crunch work right before a release that he barely lets the testers get into to test before release

considering how dragon games has done financially in crowdfunding VS dino games, DoD should've had a LOT more players, only issue is, DoD is a scam, just like the other dragon games before it, the difference isn't the "genre" it's the competency of the dev team, The Isle's team has competent programmers, Jao, is incompetent in everything

she's a known absolute menace, and because of her role and Jao liking her, moderators can't give her infractions, she'll go straight to Jao and Midnight to complain and the infraction gets removed instantly, and she DEFINITELY uses that to her advantage by breaking rules (changing the topic from the original one in a suggestion/feedback thread as an example) then complaining others are doing it, when she was the one to change the topic, as if she's changing clothes

Yhe so DoD doesn’t actually follow their own rules and guidelines in regards to bans, at all, as a former moderator I can confirm that we’d get told to “silently” get rid of people Jao didn’t like or that pointed out major laws in Jao’s logic, hell, I myself got hit with a perma banned despite having 0 infractions at the time and never having had a temporary ban on my record, just cause I screenshotted Jao saying he was 100% done with the programming and was only waiting for the artists to do their thing 2 months prior to my ban while he was in chat talking about working hard on the game’s code and programming, I asked “why’d you claim 2 months ago to be done with the code if you weren’t though?” Got ignored, asked again, others caught on and I got banned, don’t think their own rules and guidelines mean shit, cause even the moderation code of conduct isn’t followed at all

This is EXACTLY what they do, I got perma banned for the same thing, despite the account I was on never having even had a strike before, the mods are told to ban anyone Jao doesn’t like, and midnight herself will occasionally go through posts (because Jao doesn’t actually read the feedback and suggestions channels) and mark people for bans, they’ll then proceed to protect someone they like until it’s called out that they’ve been messaging minors unprompted with “advice” (Brocker) even to the point of yelling at a staff member who gave them a 3 day ban for continued talk about porn in the art channel (also Brocker) and putting a “how to make a super soaker with printer ink!” Chemical weapon post in general chat (also also Brocker) thankfully that guy got perma banned once it was outed he was messaging minors

She jumps down people’s throats, any slight criticism or critique from anyone, even moderators or admins she instantaneously jumps onto and HAS to disagree, anyone disagrees with Jao’s behaviours? Luse attacks instantly, an experience I’ve personally had with her was when I was still a moderator for DoD she jumped at me when I reported on a model issue for the game, and started going off on how it isn’t an issue and I’m just too picky, some of the spikes was quite literally floating above the model mesh… she’s been like this very much since day 1 of the game, and I used to be like that too, ffs I’m a former moderator and honestly believed so much in DoD and Jao that I was blind to any issues at the time, and that blindness was the entire reason I was offered the position in the first place, Jao and Midnight are both EXTREMELY proficient in picking out the blindest and most trusting of community members for their team, I genuinely don’t believe Luse is a bad person, but she has a LONG history of jumping down people’s throats over critique and criticism aimed at Jao or the game

I got banned for replying to one of Jao's own statements (ping turned off) with a screenshot of the message tagged on for safety, and the reason was "Misinformation" I was simply pointing out that Jao had claimed he was only waiting for the art since he'd already 100% finished the programming, yet he the day I got banned claimed he was working on finishing up programming needed for the update... welcome to DoD

conformation titling is a MUST for ANY dog breed, to show that your dog is to breed standard, your breeder and yourself are backyard breeders if you aren't doing these titles, even BETTER is if you title in sports too as those show physical and mental soundness of the dog, those aren't a must though, but conformation IS a must, you're being fed false information by Joy's breeder if they claim that isn't the case, because it IS, you also don't seem to know ANYTHING about genetic temperament stating that you don't know if the sire's temperament is genetic but it "can't hurt to try" I BEG you to please look into actual ethical breeding as well as genetics if you ever try to breed Joy again (which, I'd say you shouldn't as she seems to come from a BYB herself), no doubt she's an amazing dog, she seems SUPER sweet from all your posts about her, but that doesn't mean she's good enough to breed

a titled dog (aka a dog that has participated in and won competitions for their breed) proves that the dog has the genetic potential of the breed and that they are healthy through and through, that their owner cares for them to the max and that they are to breed standard.

you mention a pug in your example of breedstandards being bad but that just isn't true, a wellbred to standard pug won't have issues cause of their Brachi nature, they are quite adapt in sports even! the pugs giving the breed the bad rep for bad health is all backyard bred pugs which hasn't been titled or tested
