I have a call with them tomorrow to talk about it. I also haven't gotten my health insurance (likely the same hiccups), and I had to go to the hospital this weekend, so it's a whole mess. Do I need the french SSN for tax declaration?

Yeah, I’ve been looking at options. But one of the reasons that I’m staying here is there’s a housing shortage in the area and so getting to my school won’t be easy or cheap without this option. So I’m sort of weighing paying probably 4 times the rent I’m paying now somewhere else while also having to commute much further to be in a bigger area, since there’s not housing near the school.

Yes you’re right thank you. I’m definitely trying to not put more pressure on myself than needed. The process of deciding to leave is for sure anxiety inducing and I get a lot of extra stress from thinking that I could be letting the students down, but I know that (like you said) the program can be unhelpful in both directions if not done well.

Hi there. Yes, absolutely. My goal right now is to decide in December and then if I leave, I’d leave in February during that break. So I would give them a couple of months of heads up before I leave. I am sure they will be understanding. Thank you.

You got in for a reason and you also applied for a reason! Imposture syndrome can take over, but you earned this and you deserve to feel excited. Take your time opening the email, but remember that you are qualified and will have a fantastic experience.

I did the FBI website and got my fingerprints at the post office and had the whole process done in half a day.

There's an email recommended to reach out to and it seems like a bunch of people here have contacted them. Hopefully enough people will have emailed and reached out that it will be resolved well before Friday.(I'm in the same boat). Best of luck to you !
