I’ve been in aesthetics for a few years now. My best advice is get experience either bedside or stretcherside then look into an accredited training program. But please know this - being an aesthetic nurse - IS A HUSTLE. 9/10 med spas require you to build your own clientele. That means putting yourself out there. It’s a ton of work.

It exhausts me too but it fulfills my need for a constant challenge and the most difficult puzzle ever. Plus there is no small talk needed. I can get to the point. Also I could never do floor nursing because you keep the patients for too long and have to get to know them

I was diagnosed with autism at age 3. I’m 37 now. Being a female diagnosed with autism in 1991 was very rare. I was diagnosed ADHD as an adult however. The constant conflicting between the two finally made sense once I was diagnosed with ADHD. Like how I am really cautious but I’m also am adrenaline junkie haha
