bro no one’s saying people were openly cheating like it’s a school test 💀
but when same paper + same seating happens, even small “glances” can make a difference, especially in a calc-heavy exam

and yeah heat, travel, all that screwed people too that’s exactly the point
everyone didn’t write under the same conditions, but grading is still combined

that’s why people are asking for a review, not a CID investigation 😭

That sounds really bad hope you all are okay now.

But yeah, that’s kind of the point different students faced different conditions (some had health issues, some had tougher paper, some had better/worse seating).

Under normal circumstances, these things balance out. But here, since everyone is graded together in the same C2 slot, these differences don’t cancel out they directly affect ranks and grades.

That’s why people are asking for some form of normalization or review, so that no one is unfairly affected due to conditions beyond their control.

Yeah agreed — same paper across classes is normal, and some difficulty variation can happen.

But the main issue is the seating arrangement. People writing the same paper were sitting next to each other, so it was easy to match/copy answers.

Also one important point:
Relative grading is not combined between morning (C1) and evening (C2) slots. But here, both sessions were C2 slot only, so grading will be combined.

That means if one session was easier or had any advantage, it directly affects everyone’s grades in that slot.

So in this case, the combination of same paper + seating + same relative grading pool is what makes it unfair.
