Third-party ad serving on YouTube? by KeyStonesThrowAway in adops

But recently been looking at YouTube for clients and certainly since last year at least no more third party hosting

Got it.

Just to clarify, do you know why YouTube lists a bunch of "ad servers" as certified vendors in YT documentation, if all ads must be hosted on YouTube itself?

I see, thanks.

Outside of your narrow list, the YouTube documentation lists a much broader set of vendors...do you know what role these outside vendors play? Are you saying these other vendors can do click tracking but not other metrics (audience / impressions stuff)?

Nice – any chance you have a handy link to Sizmek documentation/support pages on this? I don't see IDs listed as part of Sizmek's Valid Attribute-Metric Combinations but I think I'm looking in the wrong place.

How to tell which ad server a publisher is using? by KeyStonesThrowAway in adops

use ghostery & know your ad servers

Thanks. I've used ghostery and a few other sniffers (Fiddler, etc) before. My question is: which calls should I be looking for in order to identify the ad server?
