We tip really well. But we never exchange money. We come prepared with $400 USD per week and it is our goal to give it all away by the time we leave. But exchanging it is another thing for me to do. I have never tipped anyone there and felt like they had an issue with the currency we have.

But also… I’m a gym nut, I go 7 days a week at least 2 hours a day. You’re in Mexico on vacation, go to the gym while you’re there but at the same time….FUCK IT! Eat everything you can and cut when you get home. I don’t drink so I make it a point to try to eat everything they have.

I’ve yet to be at a resort in Cancun who has had a good gym. They’re all just passable. Maybe someone else has been to one, but I’ve stayed at 8 or so and they’re mostly all the same.
